Finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is near and dear to me. I had a sister with CF and it took her life at the young age of 18. CF is a genetic disease that effects the lungs, pancreas and other organs. There are close to 40,000 children and adults living with cystic fibrosis in the United States (and an estimated 105,000 people have been diagnosed with CF across 94 countries). The Great Strides Walk is the largest fund raiser for the foundation that happens each year. There are many ways to get involved if it's a cause you would like to help find a cure for.
